In the near future, Simon accompanies his best friend Laura on a test that will match her with her soulmate. While Laura reaches several milestones with her new lover, Simon comes to realize that he has feelings for Laura. A mediocre film about two best friends, one of whom takes a test to find her soulmate. Ultimately, not much is done with this premise. The love between the characters is obvious, and the story is therefore rather predictable. There are a few beautiful scenes, but the structure is rather monotonous. Just shy of 3.0 stars.

The intention may have been to poke fun at dating services, but this plot really comes about ten years too late for that. And for criticism of dating services in general, because who uses them anymore?
It's still enjoyable viewing if you're not too critical, but I really don't see much more to it than that. Despite Poots' charming presence, who, as always, scores full marks on the cuddliness scale.
