Al Berto plot
It is 1975, the year after the Portuguese Carnation Revolution. After living in Brussels for several years (where he trained as a painter), Al Berto returns to his native village. During the revolution, his family squatted a large mansion and Al Berto spends his time hanging out with fellow villagers who, like him, are interested in art and dream of a better life. Among them is the attractive João Maria who quickly falls for the charm of Al Berto.
