Ai yori Ai E plot
Shigeo is a relatively wealthy young man who is in love with Miyako. However, Miyako comes from a lower class and Shigeo's family disapproves of the relationship. He refuses to give her up and is kicked out of the house by his father. He moves into an apartment and tries to earn a living as a writer, without much success. Miyako, however, has no problem supporting him.
