African America plot
Nompumelelo always felt the lingering feeling of dissatisfaction with her life. That crossroads came for Nompumelelo when her application to the prestigious art school Julliard was rejected. Since then, she has moved up in business and is close to an arranged marriage. She considers her life bleak and dreams of leaving South Africa and performing on Broadway. When she discovers one day that she has been cheated by her father and could have gone to Julliard, she decides to abandon everything and everyone to pursue her dream.
