Action for Slander plot

George Daviot is an introverted major who is addicted to cards. One day he is accused of cheating, a charge he shakes his head and dismisses as nonsense. However, as the scandal begins to take hold, with plenty of media attention, Daviot will have to act to avoid losing his wife, money and position.
