A Woman Builds plot

Lynn has left her husband, Kenji, and their daughter behind to pursue her dream in China. She hopes to build a house in her hometown, which is slowly becoming a tourist destination. Several obstacles lie in her path, including the attraction to a married colleague and her experiences with bureaucracy. She will therefore question her path to independence and the price she will pay for it.
