À Tous les Vents du Ciel plot

Claire is 17 years old. She is going on holiday to South Africa with her family. There, her relatives have an accident during a field trip that kills them. By a twist of fate, she herself escapes the drama. She is completely confused and convinced that she is responsible for the death of her family. Bewildered by guilt, she flees and decides that the coincidence that caused her to survive will accompany her. Through her adventures and the happy and tragic experiences, she realizes that she carries within herself the power to create her own destiny.
