A Place in the Field plot

Gio Scuderi is an uncomplicated man, marked by his time in service. He is a war veteran who receives his best friend's ashes and a suicide letter asking him to complete the road trip they always planned. A promise they made in life will be filled with guilt after his death. After all, they swore that they would make it together, even if one of them is in an urn the whole time.
