A Mother's Right: The Elizabeth Morgan Story plot
Plastic surgeon Dr. Elizabeth Morgan (Bonnie Bedelia) suspects her ex-husband Eric (Terence Knox) abused their 9-year-old daughter Hilary (Caroline Dollar). However, according to the judge, Eric has every right to continue to see his daughter. dr. Elizabeth Morgan has to watch with sorrow as the girl continues to derail under the influence of her father. dr. Elizabeth Morgan takes the law into her own hands and sends her daughter to her grandparents in New Zealand. Eric and the judge again don't let it go their way, so Dr. Elizabeth Morgan ends up in prison.
