A Melhor Mãe do Mundo plot
To escape her abusive husband, garbage collector Gal loads her two young children, Rihanna and Benin, onto her cart and sets off across São Paulo to her cousin's house. Along the way, she tries to avoid the dangers of the streets, all the while convincing her children they're on a grand, exciting adventure. When they finally arrive at her cousin's house, they receive a warm welcome and are given food. But what initially seems like a safe haven quickly turns into a trap. Gal realizes that not only her own safety but also her children's future is at stake.
