A Day Late and a Dollar Short plot
When Viola Price discovers that another asthma attack is likely to kill her, she becomes determined to get her broken family back together. During this mission, she must struggle with sibling rivalry, teenage pregnancy and drug addiction. In addition, one of her sons must learn to be a better father and her granddaughter has bigger problems than her daughter dares to admit. Her husband must also be rescued from the clutches of his scheming younger girlfriend. Viola's meddling has not happened to the Price family for several decades and she will have to do everything she can to impose her will on her loved ones.
