A Couple of Down and Outs plot

Young artilleryman Danny returns disillusioned from World War I and soon finds himself in trouble with the law when he steals his war horse to save it from the slaughter. The police give chase, but thanks to the help of a young woman, the daughter of a police officer, he manages to escape.
