A Colder Kind of Death plot

Joanna Kilbourn used to be a detective but now teaches at the university. She is also a forensic analyst for a local television station. She left the police force after the unsolved murder of her husband, Attorney General Ian Kilbourn. Now, six years later, she is reminded of that painful episode in her life when a man accused of the murder: Kevin Tarpley is arrested. However, he denies any involvement. Her current boyfriend, Inspector Philip Millard, is taken off the case shortly afterwards and Joanna has no choice but to search for her husband's killer herself.
