A Captive in the Land plot

Royce flies with an RAF military cargo plane over the North Pole. Along the way, they fly over a Russian plane that has just crashed with one survivor. The RAF plane cannot land there and Royce parachutes down to stay with the survivor. Both are waiting for help, but that takes days. Together they must survive the hardships in the freezing cold.
