300 Mil do Nieba plot

Twelve-year-old Grześ and fifteen-year-old Jędrek travel as stowaways on a freight train to escape poverty and go to freedom. Exhausted, they reach the west. The boys are harassed by the local Polish authorities to return to their country, which they refuse. When Grześ and Jędrek call their parents on Christmas Eve, the story takes an unexpected turn.
