14 d'Abril: Macià contra Companys plot

Fictional documentary that highlights the separatism in Catalonia of the 1930s through the three days in 1934 during which the Catalan Republic existed. The independence party ERC, led by Colonel Macià and to which Lluís Companys belongs, wins municipal elections in Catalan cities. Shortly after this, King Alfonso XIII leaves Spain, allowing Macià to declare independence from the Catalan Republic, and to regain self-government in Catalonia for the first time in centuries.
