Tasuku has returned to his native village twelve years after meeting and leaving Yuiko. Twelve years ago they were in love, even though she was already attached to an older man. However, their crush ended in a tragic car accident that killed Yuiko's friend. Even after their breakup, they both still feel guilt and long for each other. Now that Yuiko is a doctor's betrothed, the two have chosen to keep their distance. But when Yuiko learns about the reason for Tasuku's return, she decides not to hold back.
