100% Arabica plot

100% Arabica is the nickname of a multiracial suburb of Paris. Unemployment, petty crime and traditional values from different cultures determine the atmosphere of daily life. The district is home to two giants of rai music (Cheb Mami and Khaled), who regularly stir things up with their clandestine street concerts. The mayor sees his grip on the neighborhood slacken and decides to take action with new elections coming up. He pulls two corrupt imams to his side to restore peace at all costs. As this duo resorts to heavier means to get the youths into the mosque, the neighborhood mutiny grows.
