Born in New York in 1916, Yehudi Menuhin is just a child when his parents take him to Basel. In the 1950s, the virtuoso, who remained in Switzerland, settled in Gstaad with his family. From that moment on, he began to take an interest in the instruments of the region and the Alpine traditions.
