Eighty-year-old Yandé Codou Sène is one of the most important singers of the polyphonic poetic tradition. She comes from a family of griots and is one mythical figure in Senegal, next to the president-poet Léopold Sédar Senghor. This documentary tells a tender and bitter story about greatness, glory and the transience of time.
