Worlds of Ursula K. Le Guin (2018)

Worlds of Ursula K. Le Guin plot

"A wizard's work is never done."

Documentary showing the remarkable life and legacy of the late Ursula K. Le Guin. This feminist and author wrote groundbreaking works in the science fiction and fantasy genres such as 'A Wizard of Earthsea', 'The Left Hand of Darkness' and 'The Dispossessed'. Her oeuvre has not always been recognized and embraced as literature by everyone in the literary world, but its quality and Le Guin's strong character eventually forced science fiction and fantasy to be recognized as respectable literary genres. This documentary tells her story on film for the first time, with the collaboration of Le Guin herself and her loved ones.
