Women of Tibet: A Quiet Revolution plot

In 1959, Tibetan women took to the streets of Lhasa to resist the Chinese occupation of their country. They stayed there until they were brutally rounded up. Some were imprisoned, some risked an escape through the Himalayas. This documentary tells the story of what came to be known as the Tibetan women's uprising.
