Wolflady plot

"Kovacs, The Musical Journey"

The seasoned musician Oscar Holleman falls from his chair when he hears the voice of 21-year-old singer Sharon Kovacs: "A second Amy Winehouse". Kovacs, nicknamed The Wolf Lady, approaches Holleman, thirty years his senior, discoverer and music producer of internationally successful bands such as Within Temptation and Krezip, and makes a pact with him. Their musical quest takes them to Cuba, London, Hamburg, Berlin and New York. Along the way, we witness Sharon's past pain and the need to make something, the cry for recognition. The documentary shows how those two hectic years go. With ups and downs, with pills and drugs, with quarrels and love, with cigarettes and mental complaints and above all with the 'all or nothing' mentality, the two lay the foundation for the realization of Sharon's musical ambitions.
