Who Took Johnny plot
1982, Des Moines. 12-year-old Johnny Gosch does not return after delivering the morning newspaper. It soon becomes clear that he has been kidnapped. Within four years, Eugene Martin and Marc Allen, two other Des Moines boys, also disappear under the same mysterious circumstances. The film follows Noreen Gosch – Johnny's mother – during her years-long search for answers and makes clear what according to Noreen happened to her son. In addition, we see several interviews, including an interview with Johnny's father, who has a very different view on the matter than Noreen. Eyewitnesses are also discussed, relatives of the other boys and the man who claimed to have helped kidnap Johnny under duress.
