Where the Heck Is My Period? plot

This documentary follows the journey of eleven African women struggling with polycystic ovarian syndrome, or PCOS. It is a hormonal condition that, in addition to unwanted physical symptoms, can also cause irregular periods. Globally, one in ten women of childbearing age are affected. The film highlights the struggles the syndrome causes through interviews with gynecologists, pastors, public figures and indigenous African doctors.
