A stylized look into the life of Armen Ra, the eccentric Iranian theremin player. Ra, the nephew of an opera singer and son of a citizen of the world, grows up in a house full of women. As a result, he enjoys a feminine, artistic and cultural upbringing. During a vacation in the United States, the revolution breaks out in his home country. He is forced to attend school in Boston, where he is severely bullied. He wants to get out of there as soon as possible and moves to New York where he ends up in the drug world. Here, drugs and alcohol eventually take their toll. Then he discovers the theremin.
