Wandlungen - Richard Wilhelm und das I Ging plot

Richard Wilhelm (1873-1930), theologian and missionary, traveled to the former Chinese Empire in 1899 for the German East Asia Mission. There he translated key documents of Chinese culture, such as Lao Tzu, Confucius and the 'I-Ching', considered the 'Book of Changes' to be one of the oldest religious writings of mankind. It was Wilhelm who brought much of the still-living wisdom of the I-Ching to the West and thereby made Chinese culture accessible.
