The legend of Joan of Arc has fascinated the whole world. In everyone's memory, she is the shepherdess who died at the stake after saving France. But reports from the 15th century state that some did not believe she was dead. Five years after the pyre, a wonderful gossip spread: 'La Pucelle' is back! The enigmatic and fascinating story of Jeanne D'Arc has been explored by Martin Meissonnier who takes the viewer along in his investigation, stripped of religious criteria. Leaning on many truthful documents, he edits historical facts in a playful way, among other things thanks to the reconstruction of clothing and visual material from that era.
