Vores Lykkes Fjender plot

In the first images we witness the commotion that Malalai Joya caused in 2003 in the loya jirga, the traditional Afghan form of parliament. Loudly she asks why criminals and warlords, who have brought so much misery to the country and oppress women, are allowed to be here. Two years and four attempts on her life later, 28-year-old Malalai Joya has not been silenced. In this documentary she is followed during the last two weeks of her campaign for a seat in the new parliament.
