Documentary about the remarkable life and music of American guitarist, singer and mystic Robbie Basho. In his short, troubled life, he laid the foundations for the radical changes in America's musical landscape in the 1960s and 1970s. However, it brought him little fame. Interviews with his former students, contemporaries and some close friends - including Pete Townshend, William Ackerman, Henry Kaiser and Country Joe McConald - are combined with previously discovered archival footage and photographs of landscapes and natural phenomena that inspired him.
