Vítejte v KLDR! plot

Not many people can say they have vacationed in North Korea. A Czech travel agency provides trips to this most closed country in the world, with all kinds of restrictions, of course. The tourists are not allowed to bring a mobile phone or GPS, take pictures of trains and buses and they are not allowed to stray from the group. Hotel rooms can be bugged, and some North Koreans circling them may secretly understand Czech. Czech filmmaker Linda Jablonská booked this trip, pretending to be a tourist and using a hidden agenda to make a documentary about the amazement and struggles of her compatriots. They are all looking for the horror of totalitarianism, which they never get to see directly, because they are not allowed to talk to Koreans other than the wrinkled guides. Along the way they come across all kinds of successful and failed communist propaganda.
