On the occasion of the Têt festival, the Vietnamese New Year, Mei-Chen Chalais introduces her niece Delphine Henry to the country where their roots lie. From Hanoi they travel to the Perfume River and talk about the drama of the First Indochina War and try to trace the traces of the family past.
