Victim of Geography plot

'Victim of Geography' shows the guerrillas of Europe: eco-warriors, squatters, peace protesters, radio pirates, soul surfers, vagabonds. The filmmakers travel from Glasgow to Sarajevo, Zagreb, Budapest, Vienna, Berlin, Amsterdam, Northampton and Belgrade, and speak with young people who are resisting the ruling order. We meet squatters in Amsterdam, internet users in Zagreb and golfers in Berlin. The common thread is the great involvement in the local society of which one is a part, and at the same time the even greater need to escape from that environment. For example, the boy in Zagreb retreats to the World Wide Web, where you don't need a visa, and the eco-warrior cum soul surfer talks about the waves, who are his compelling friends, but also need protection.
