Vever plot

Artist Deborah Stratman edits and combines the unfinished recordings of experimental pioneers such as Maya Deren and Barbara Hammer. A cross-generational mix of three filmmakers seeking alternatives to the power structures they are inherently part of. Shot during Barbara Hammer's 1975 motorcycle trip to Guatemala, the film is laced with Maya Deren's ideas from her time in Haiti in the 1950s.
