Vermoorde Onschuld - Zuid-Afrika na de Waarheidscommissie plot

Documentary about three members of the secret assassination squads in South Africa who tortured and murdered a large number of alleged black terrorists in the 1980s during the white apartheid regime of Pieter Botha. In 1999, these undercover agents were given amnesty in exchange for confessing to their horrific practices. In Murdered Innocence, the men candidly tell their story. The film also shows how they lived on after their confessions to the truth commission. The white executioners Cronjé and Van Vuuren have withdrawn into a domestic life; the black Mamasela still checks his car for explosives every day. After all, he betrayed his own people and wants to come to terms with the camera by confronting relatives of the people he killed at the time.
