Verloren Band - De Scheiding van Mijn Ouders plot

Frénk van der Linden's parents bitterly divorced forty years ago. Since the divorce, father Jan (81) and mother Erica (74) have not spoken to each other. The more time goes on, the greater the removal seems - and the more painful Frénk finds the situation. When his mother is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, Frénk realizes that the time has come for one last attempt at reconciliation. He proposes to his parents to talk to him separately about their love and the breakdown of their marriage. In the hope of bringing them closer together after forty years.
