Une Femme Qui Part plot

In 1952, Marie-Louise Chapelle was the first French woman to reach a pristine Himalayan peak. Years later, filmmaker Ellen Vermeulen follows in her footsteps; literally and figuratively. Inspired by Chapelle's extraordinary archive, Vermeulen in turn crosses inhospitable snow landscapes, while reflecting on the social limitations, desires and complexity of being a woman.
