Triptiek - Beelden van een Koninkrijk plot
Where does the Dutchman work, where does he live and where does he spend his free time? In this triptych, Dutch locations are filmed that were created by human hands. However, not the users of the space, but the places themselves are the main characters in this purely visual documentary. In the harbor area, plastic colossi flutter between rotating windmills and iron gates. Nature manifests itself reluctantly, in the form of insects, moss and rabbits. In the second part, a Vinex neighborhood is portrayed by means of static shots. They are still lifes of newly laid out squares, streets under construction. The third character, an 'entertainment area', has times of dead silence, empty parking spaces and closed shutters, and enormous crowds. Concrete is omnipresent.
