Toer plot

Toer Van Schaijk is a dancer, choreographer, visual artist and set and costume designer. He wants to devote more time to the visual arts, but can still regularly be found in the studios and wings of the Muziektheater and other dance theaters around the world. This discord characterizes Van Schaijk's life. In the meantime, there also seems to be time for introspection: should he have focused on just one discipline? And are dance and visual arts just as transient as life? Director Barbara Mokkena portrays Van Schaijk in the full range of his creative power during the realization of his well-known choreography of De Nutcracker & Muizenkoning in the Wielki Theater in Warsaw. In the same period he loses his best friend Rudi van Dantzig.
