Thunder Soul plot

"He gave them everything. Now it's time to give back."

Charismatic school band leader Conrad "Prof" Johnson turned a school band into a legendary funk band in Houston in the 1970s. Now, 35 years later, his students are preparing to pay tribute to the man who changed their lives, now 92-year-old Johnson. Some haven't touched their instrument in years, but dust it off to get back on stage and prove to their 'Pro' that they still have 'it'. A story about the past in the seventies and the here and now, in which everything is put together and people prepare for one last show.
