The Weird World of Blowfly plot

The story of singer-songwriter Clarence Reid and his alter ego Blowfly, the 'original dirty rapper'. At 69 years old, with some of the grittiest songs to his name, he continues to record new material and tour the world. Highlights from both Reid and Blowfly are shown, including R&B top 10 hits and the song 'Rapp Dirty', which can be considered the world's first rap song, reportedly recorded back in 1965. We see him on tour, but also at his home and so his career and his philosophy are slowly revealed. Of course, his musical legacy and his importance as a rapper and soul artist are also discussed.
