The Unconquered plot
Helen Keller was an American writer and linguist. Before her second birthday, she became both blind and deaf as a result of an illness. From five years later, she learned to communicate with the finger alphabet, after which she learned to read and write and eventually even graduated from university. During her life after that, she became a celebrity around the world and a model for many with disabilities. First of all, this documentary shows her encounters in the world through news overviews. The second half shows a day in the life at her home.
