The Take plot
"Occupy. Resist. Produce."
Argentina is a 'ghost country', a country that ended up on the brink of collapse due to the export of capital. THE TAKE is an account of Naomi Kleins and Avi Lewis' journey through factories reclaimed by workers. After the country went bankrupt, many employers left their factories empty because they would no longer be profitable. In various places in the country, the employees tried to get production going again. Naomi Klein, known for her bestseller 'No Logo', and Avi Lewis follow the workers through the laborious reconstruction.
