The Show Must Go On plot
A film about love and death in the 32,000 inhabitants of Sun City West in Arizona, where only the elderly over fifty-five are allowed to live. About old people who experience a second youth in the portal of death. Anyone with a bit of talent can join one of more than one hundred and forty associations - ranging from tap dance clubs to German choirs blaring their songs at the Heidelberg Inn. Self-explanatory images of a never-ending show are interspersed with shots of sleepy everyday life and with interviews about marital troubles, family tragedies, fear of death and loneliness, but also childish bullying between adult men.
