The Secret in the Satchel plot

Director and university lecturer Tay-jou Lin read thousands of papers, reports and diaries from his students over a decade. In addition to the usual subject matter, these often contain drawings, notes, photographs, love letters or other personal outpourings. Inadvertently, this gave him insight into their tumultuous private lives. Lin asked three of his students to tape record their stories. They agreed.
