The Search for Michael Rockefeller plot

"A missing scion, a lost film, a dark secret."

In 2007, filmmaker Fraser C. Heston discovered lost footage shot by the adventurer and writer Milt Machlin. Machlin filmed the footage in 1969 during his expedition to the coast of New Guinea. At the time, he was looking for Michael Rockefeller, who disappeared there without a trace. The material includes never-before-seen footage from the search for Rockefeller and includes interviews with eyewitnesses. In addition, a completely different light is shed on the disappearance of Rockefeller.
