The Right Girls plot

"ON A QUEST TO FIND ACCEPTANCE AND HAPPINESS"

Valentyna, Joanne and Chantal - three young transgender women from El Salvador and Honduras - travel from southern Mexico with a much-discussed migrant caravan. They develop a close friendship as they walk and hitchhike north. At the same time, they have to cope with physical exhaustion, limited financial resources and regular bullying. Together with other transsexual girls, they form a team along the route and integrate into the LGBT community of the caravan. They travel thousands of miles to achieve their dreams.
