This was followed by many other films based on Dick's stories, such as 'Total Recall', 'Paycheck', 'Minority Report' and 'A Scanner Darkly'. During his lifetime, Philip K. Dick remained a writer on the margins. But thirty years after his death, the opinion of him as an author appears to have been completely revised. What was once considered pulp is now considered a classic. Philip K. Dick has become a cult hero. In the first place because of his work, but no less because of his bizarre life. "The Owl In Daylight - Philip K. Dick is Here!" is director David Kleijwegt's search for Dick's ideas, which are still contemporary and urgent.
