The Man Who Would Be Free plot

Romania, the late 1970s. In a country teetering on the brink of economic disaster and terrorized by the secret police, a young man teaches people how to break through the lies of their existence and start living as free and responsible individuals. Nearly 40 years later, some of them are recreating the portrait of the man who opened their eyes and made them see the hypocrisy in which they lived. This is the story of Cezar Mititelu, a man who embarked on a radical quest for true freedom and, along the way, decided to change the world.
