The Islands and the Whales plot
The Faroe Islands are located in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean (southeast of Iceland). The islanders live with due pride from everything that nature offers them. The hunters have been keeping the people alive for generations with seabirds and whales. But now an expert has discovered that the whales have been affected by pollution. Where the animals used to be an important source of food, they now pose a danger to the population. And are their age-old, bloody traditions still relevant today? Their lifestyle has been criticized from all sides, not least by Greenpeace environmentalists.
